THIS MOMENT WILL ONLY EVER
BE HERE ONCE
A proud father, a tearful mother, and friends that just can’t help but smile. This is what I will capture for you.
01. Do your wedding packages include an engagement session?
Every one of my packages include an engagement session, and let me tell you why; because they’re important. They’re important for you to have, and they’re an important part of the relationship that grows between us. You need to know who I am and how I work before your wedding day. You have enough things to worry about on your wedding day than whether or not your photographer is going to do the job you’re expecting of them. You need to feel not only confidant in working with me, but also comfortable. I want you to feel a like a friend is walking in the room when I first see you getting ready. I want your partner to sit in the car after your engagement session and say, “Man, that was WAY easier than I thought it would be. I’m so glad we did that!” I’m going to tell you right now, I leave every single one of my weddings at the end of the night and PRAY that I get to see those people again, because I absolutely fall in love with my clients. They’re amazing, and the fact that I get to witness their day is positively incredible to me. There is not a single couple that I haven’t photographed that haven’t etched themselves into a tiny place in my heart.
02. Do you provide a second photographer?
Absolutely! Every package comes with the incredible talents of my dear friend and right-hand gal, Margo. Margo has been with me for over 3 years and has a wealth of creativeness in her work as a photographer. She is forever dedicated to not only her own photography business, but also works as a videographer and visual communications for one of Fort Wayne’s largest insurance and risk management companies. She is great fun, has a huge heart, and helps me produce magical galleries for my couples with her creativeness.
03. How long have you been photographing weddings?
I started building my photography business in 2011, and photographing weddings shortly thereafter. I currently have over 150 weddings under my belt, and counting. With my experience comes the knowledge of wedding day timelines, what questions to ask you in order to get the gallery of your dreams, established relationships with vendors, and so much more. I understand that each couple is different, and comes with their very own vision, and I cannot wait for us to come up with something amazing and very uniquely “you.” I have spent years perfecting my craft in order for you to be as comfortable, relaxed and authentically you in front of my camera.
04. What is your working process like during a typical wedding day?
Margo and I are both know how to work your wedding. We work behind the scenes for the most past – staying out of the way of your wedding party and guests way as much as possible. This is your day, and we want you to be present – experiencing all of the moments that you’ve worked so hard to put together. At the appropriate times, we direct our couples and their families as certain images are needed to be captured. We work directly off of the timeline that you and I sit down and create prior to your wedding date in order to make sure you get each image you want.
