I knew that Iran & Carlos had dated for a while before getting engaged, but during our last meeting together,
I learned that they were actually High School sweethearts. They talked of the plans that they had made
together for they “got older” and the boxes of letters that they each kept from one another. How she always
dreamed of going to London someday, and how he promised that he would be the one to take her (and he kept
his promise – they are going there on their honeymoon). As they told their story, and smiled at each other
through every memory, my heart grew bigger and bigger. Their story is already chapters deep, and they are both
so excited to keep adding to the story.
